May 15, 2020 Jeff Goldsmith

For your viewing pleasure, courtesy of The Wallis and Complicité for one week (ending 5/22/20) you can see the entire 2016 performance of Simon McBurney‘s experimental masterpiece of theatre—The Encounter!

The show uses binaural sound design (3D audio) – which means you MUST watch it wearing headphones, just like every audience member in the theater did to experience the full 3D audio effect!

Imagine a narrative that puts you into the midst of a Brazilian rainforest as we witness an artist have a transcendental breakthrough on stage when the tales he’s telling merge into a beautiful cacophony of sound and light.
